Pricing

Base price covers a standard quarter-acre suburban yard. Bigger lot, steep grade, lots of obstacles โ€” I'll quote after I see it. No price changes mid-season without telling you.

One-time cut

$55 / visit
  • Full mow + string trim
  • No commitment
  • Pay after the cut

Good for: cleanup before listing, between regulars, or a one-off.

Weekly

$35 / cut
  • Same day each week
  • Skip rainy weeks (no charge)
  • String trim every visit
  • Free spring kick-off cut

Best lawn health. Grass stays in mowing range โ€” no scalping.

Bi-weekly

$45 / cut
  • Same day every other week
  • String trim every visit

Works for dry months. In a wet June you'll want weekly.

What's included every visit

One honest note: I don't have a truck โ€” I ride the mower to you. That means no hauling clippings off, no big brush removal, no bulk mulch deliveries. Just a clean cut, well done. If you need haul-away, I'll be straight and tell you that's not what I do.

Service area

My John Deere S100 is also my work truck. I can only reach houses within a reasonable ride from mine in Elkhart.

Best test: send me your address. If I can get there safely on side streets, I'll tell you yes โ€” and put you on the route same week. If you're out of range, I'll say so plainly.

If you're on my street or the next street over, you're definitely in.

Questions

How do I know if I'm in your area?

Send your address. The honest answer is: if I can ride the mower to your door on safe streets, you're in. If not, I'll tell you. No guessing games.

What if it rains on my day?

I push to the next dry day. Weekly customers don't pay for skipped weeks. The catch-up cut after a skip is the normal price โ€” no surcharge for long grass.

How tall do you cut?

~3.5 inches by default โ€” strong-root height for Indiana grass, shades out weeds. Lower or higher on request.

Do you bag clippings?

No โ€” I mulch them back into the lawn. Free fertilizer, no plastic bags, and honestly I can't haul them anywhere on a riding mower.

Edging along the walk?

I string-trim along edges every visit, which keeps a clean line. I don't run a separate mechanical edger โ€” that's not on the S100.

What about landscaping?

Limited but yes โ€” small hand work I can do without a truck. See r0ice.com/landscaping for what fits.

How do I pay?

Cash in the door, PayPal, or a Stripe link. Weekly/bi-weekly customers can pay monthly if you'd rather.

Cancel anytime?

Just text me. No fee, no contract, no "30-day notice." You pay for cuts done.

Insurance?

General liability is in progress. Ask if you need a COI before booking and I'll tell you where I am with it.
