How to checkmate with king and queen
Queen and king mate · You are White · checkmate within 50 moves
White to move. FEN: 8/8/8/4k3/8/8/8/3QK3 w - - 0 1
The idea
Shrink the box: put your queen a knight's move away from the enemy king and follow it as it moves, so its space gets smaller. Once it is stuck on the edge, walk your king up and mate. Leave the king a square until the final blow, or it is stalemate.
Free, no sign-up. The bot plays its strongest defence, so reaching the goal means you really know it.
